MAP sensor vacuum line
Hey everyone my hose from the MAP sensor has snapped and Im having the hardest time finding a replacement. I've been googling like crazy and went to both advanced and napa and couldn't find exactly what I needed. I bought some thin vacuum hose about the size of the current line from advanced and I'm curious if that will be sufficient enough of a hose from the sensor to the intake manifold on my 95 xj. my plan so far is to zip tie the hose on each end and tape over it. i know that's not the best way to do it but any suggestions or a location of where I can purchase this line will be greatly appreciated, this thing has been idling weird, stumbling like a drunk girl leaving the bar and a not so pleasing exhaust smell that I cannot wait to get rid of because its sitting in the driveway until I get it straightened out because its my only vehicle. thanks in advance for any help

Here you go. I purchased this about 2 months ago when I replaced my ccv lines. The smallest one goes to the maf I believe.

Just ordered that whole kit, thank you! Would that replacement hose as mentioned work in the mean time or is that a bad idea?

Go ahead and do it if it works but if not I'd get it fixed without driving ASAP

I have run the rubber hose for a while before. It was fine. i had it on mine for months of use. It would still be there if I didn't find a good one at pick and pull on my last trip haha.

Just make sure the hose is sturdy enough not to collapse under vacuum.

I ended up super glueing the hose where the crack was on the inside and the outside and then electrical taped it. Works perfectly fine just waiting for the new hoses
