Default Manifold question for a 99 XJ and 2000 XJ

Ok so I purchased a 2000 XJ with a brand new jasper engine in it, friend of the family had it installed drove it 12,000 miles then a tree branch caved the roof in. I'm getting ready to install it in my 99 XJ. I'm keeping the 0331 head on it, yes I know issues surrounding the potential of cracking, but with 12k on it I'm not to worried about it.

The question I have is, can I use my manifold on the 0331 head?? I know the ports are smaller but if I use my manifold would it seal? Is there an aftermarket header for the 0331 that removes the Pre-Cats yet keeps it long so my down pipe will work??

Also don't say it's illegal to remove the Pre-Cats bc my jeep didn't come with it so it's not illegal. My jeep will be kept legal and emission proper for its year.
