I have 3 " lift on my 96 Cherokee. I am running stock rims and 33s . They definitely rub on hard turns. Get some rims with at least 5" back spacing to get rid of the rub. I'm gonna do the same when i get some money saved.

I just tried jacking the diff up, putting jacks under the frame, and letting it back down

The bolts are sooooo tight... I need a breaker bar and a 500lb man to loosen these things! Impact guns dont do the trick!

Then remove the lower end of the track bar and steering stabilizer, old stock control arms, put in the new (preferrably poly) bushings and arms liberally lubed with silicone spray (unless you like loud squeaking), then put it all back together in reverse order. I don't know about the 33"s. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Used correctly spring compressors are perfectly safe. The ones that fly are off are the ones torqued down with an impact, or the ones that don't have safety pins. If they were super deadly they probably wouldn't rent them out at every single autoparts store in the states.

Or its seized in the bushing and they will have to be cut out. I used a 2 ft breaker bar and a IR impact one side came off the other had to be cut out.

I'm confused by Berserker's post, you shouldn't need to remove the springs or track bar to replace the LCA's...
