Buy yourself a v-8.Or tape the sound of a v-8 and play it in your radio. I hope you don't think it will give you more power ?

get a 2.5" mandrel tailpipe from rustys or someone and run 2.5" straight off the cat to the tailpipe with no muffler. It will have a nice smooth deep sound and be loud outside but going down the highway wont be earpiercing bc of the pipe being out the back. I ran that setup on my 97 i used to have.
I'm surprised how good the 4.0 sounds with a glasspack. Deeper sound than most 6 bangers. Was thinking about keeping the stock muffler but might just have to slap on a cherrybomb now.
