Bet I could do it in half that time or less on my rig. Then again it might have to do with the fact that I can easily get my springs out when flexed. Either way 30 mins in a well equipped shop not a problem. When I did my 4.5" (with all four shocks, springs front and rear, shackles, front lower control arms adjustable track bar) it was done inside and hour and a half. That was with a beer or two in the mix. Also I really didn't hit any snags at all, all bolts came out nicely.

lol, just making them
BUT... if i was at my old job, I could do it... neat little tool the clamps around the springs and compresses them in seconds (hooks up to the air compressor)

If you need a TC drop then by definition you need a SYE. Reason a TC Drop is a shortcut or stop-gap step for a SYE. Reason you would do a TC Drop or SYE is driveline vibrations the Cure is a Double cardon or CV drive shaft. Sometimes you can "GET BY" with only a TC Drop. Tc Drop can be done for $5, so its worth a try. BUT plan to get the SYE, soon.

I just did a 3" lift.
Bastard pack from an Isuzu rodeo on the back.
The front uses coils I got from a junkyard V8-ZJ, along with 1.75" spacers.
This added up to 3" perfectly for me.
The front is firm but not too firm. Feels like it will easily carry my XRC8 winch now.
I also got some new shocks. Gabriel pro ultra for 2"-3" lift. These work great, & supposedly have a limited lifetime warranty.
