And ask for the bolts vs welding I can only assume its so people can bolt it together, keep in mind his stuff is custom made with every order, you can very easily tell him "Weld that up" and he'll voice why he did it and if you still want it welded I'm sure he'd do it for you.
As for how it mounts, again, only so many ways you can do something with what you're given.

your both wrong in a sense about the 4-link setup..... look at the front of ANY Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, or TJ/JK Wrangler........ they all have a 4 link style setup and have you ever driven one without a track bar on the factory suspension???? not a fun ride
lol
but back to the topic at hand, my 10" LA kit is still an after market 4-link style, after hitting the trails in my good buddies 10" lifted XJ with a radius arm front this summer i'm changing mine over.

clayton is coming out with a 4 link front w/o a track bar. if you say im wrong then call clayton and tell them that they are wrong too

stock 4 link no, triangulated custom 4 link yes, IF you can get it to fit
i forgot to mention that it needs to be triangulated so yes a 4 link can work,

Over on Naxja, there are a few vendors that have 3/4-link long arm set ups. And there are others that have the y-link/radius arms such as frankz.
If I go above 3 inch I will go with a 3 or 4 link long arm.
