Long Arm on 3.5 Inch Lift
Good or bad idea? How will adjustment and clearence be with long arms on a 3.5 inch lift? Currently have 31s with tubular short arms. I'm looking for more flex offroad and better on road performance. And if so, does the Rough Country kit hold up?
Theres some kits you can't run with too little lift, in some cases you may need to shorten the arms a little bit or push your axle further forward.
That being said quite a few guys run lower lifts with long arms and great results. However id stay away from rough country.

awesome idea. I ran a long arm on a 4.5" lift for a long time and the kit had been designed for a 6.5" lift. I would call the company you are looking at and try to get ahold of a competent tech and ask them if anyone else has tried to run their kit at a lower lift height.

And the fact that it's a radius arm. Not having the upper link to run into uniframe and floor helps with smaller lift.
