Lock Right, Aussie, Spartan, all will do what you want for $300 or so per axel.

best bang for your buck would be a lunchbox locker like lockright/powertrax ect.

If you can afford it, put a selectable up front.

Good question.

Having a Selectable allows you to lock and unlock the front axle as needed. This makes steering in tight confines a lot easier, it also makes your 4hi useable in the snow (on road).

oh ok that makes sence, so ill save up for a ARB locker up front and just auto lock the rear for now. Another question i have is with these auto lockers is how does it know when to lock and when to unlock?

My favorite is Detroit lockers. They free spin while i'm not on the gas but as soon as I hit the gas they lock in.

Eaton Elocker FTW.
Simple wire and relay connection, no air compressor needed, no air lines to install, no o-rings in the axle to leak.

You tell the locker (ARB opr Eaton) when yo lock or unlock with the flip of a switch or the push of a button.

Loss of control in snow. Reason why I run an e locker in the front and Detroit in the back.
