Default Locker Question Dana 30

So I have read and heard people say that it is possible and easy to put a locker from a Dana 35 into a Dana 30. Both being 27 Spline I can see whyit is possible.

My question is have you or do you know anyone personally that has done it. If so are their any hidden install tactics. I know any locker in the Dana30 the carrier has to be pulled.

The reason I am asking.
I know a guy that as an Aussie and a Detroit Ez Locker. He told me if one of them fit in his Dana 30 he would sell me the other for $75. I would use it for the same thing in my Dana 30.

You mean a lunchbox locker or an actual full carrier type locker?

Would it matter that the font is Non C-clip and rear is C-clip?

The D35 is a larger carrier than the D30 don't think it will fit. The C clips are there to hold the axleshaft in place. The fronts are retained by the uni bearing.

Right.

I know it has been done I have seen threads about it and have heard people say. But have never saw any proof of it happening
