So I have an stock open diff d35 rear right now, but I have the opportunity to buy a 8.25 with a lunchbox locker....was just curious as to the effect on how well they ride on the road and if it changed taking sharp turns at all?
Any help is much appreciated.

i have a lockrite in the rear, just dont floor it around corners, it will make you drift like a mother in the snow. and turning into parking spots, it will click alot but i would recomend it, its not bad

I have both diffs locked with Aussies. Awesome performance! Very happy with them. And I live in north Idaho where it snows all the time, in fact, I built my xj for snow wheeling. A lot of my friends run selectable lockers up here because some people cant stand full time lockers on icy roads. But i go anywhere they can both on and off road. Do full time lockers change how you drive in hazarding road conditions? Yes. Do they prevent you from driving in hazarding conditions? No. Neither do they prevent you from normal daily driving as well.
