Default light questions

ok. this is a long shot. but is there A way to make my roof lights come on with my high beams ONLY when my low beams are on? or just whenever i turn on the highs? but i dont want to turn on my roof lights alone and backfeed my high beams and the ther roof lights because they are wired inners and outers. also can i mod the factory relay for the fog light switch to stay on WITH the highbeams?

So you want them to come on when you turn on your high beams, not flash them? Same with the fogs?

Yes. But not the fogs. I want the fogs to come on with just the factory switch. Not needing the headlights on. And them able to stay on with the high beams.

For the fogs which ever wire gives the switch power to go to the lights needs to be changed to have power whenever you wish. You can look up the schematic of the fog lights and it should show you which color wire gives the switch power so you can change that to come from the battery. With the lights you have up top, take the wire that gives the relay power and wire it to come from the highbeams. So the wire that turns the highbeams on will give the relay power to the lights up top. Then since the relay has power, you can leave the switches in the on position and whenever you turn your highbeams on the lights up top will turn on.

jeez do you want them to come on while backing up too?

You can always wire another switch to give power to the relay when highbeams is not giving it power

True i was about to say that. Im not sure how to wire that up without having the high beams come on when you have the top lights on. If i knew i would have already done it lol I'll think some more and see what i can come up with

I was thinking about using diodes. But I don't know where I could get a big enough one.

OK so someone check this theory: Take the wire to turn the highbeams on and wire it up to the relays that go to the top lights but put that on a switch before the relay. Now wire the lights up like you have them now relays and switches. So when you turn the lights on via the switches it wont backprobe the high beams because you have that switch turned off so it blocks the current from the highbeams
