What's the best way to get the light bar wire to the battery? Thru the back I assume?Light Bar Wiring-img_0306.jpg

Where are you puting the lightbar? If up on the rack, some people drill a hole in the roof... Some people run it down the weather stripping in the door... There are youtube videos on different install techniques and tricks... The video doesnt have to be about lightbar on xj's, just watch several and get comfortable with whichever route you are going to go... Make sure you are using a relay... Hopefully you have a wiring harness...

I ran my front and rear lights through the roof then used a rubber grommet with sealer. The wires have to end up in the cab for the switch anyway so I ran mine down the side to my switch panel for all my lights front and rear.

They run from their to under the hood to relays and battery, I can still add more switches if needed to the gauge pods.

The other option is to drill out of one the roof rail mounting screw holes to fit the 2 wires, run the wire along the inside of the roof, then drop them down the drivers side A-pillar then seal it up with a grommet. Already a hole there, you are just reaming it out.

I'm going to use marine cable glands on mine. I just got the ones from newmar. I'll post pics when it's done.
