Now I know I've seen some guy running his light bar off the rear wiper switch because his didn't work.

And now I've decided to go that route because my rear wiper doesn't work and i feel it'll save me time if I just connect my light bar to the rear wiper wires. Is that possible? Or am I a ******* with a great imagination...

If this is possible any picture or a step by step would be fantastic, I want to place the light bar on my roof.
*It also didn't come with a switch either, just the led bar bolts and the short wire with black and red wiring*
Thanks a million in advance for reading.

How long could it possibly take to wire this up properly with a relay and the correct gauge wire?

The light bar I got has no instructions no switch no extra wires to run. Just the bar and bolts haha so I mean if I knew where the rear wiper wire was I would try it right now.. I just don't know where to locate it

Why not just tie it into the OEM fog light switch?

Well if you don't have fog lights that might not be possible lol.

If nothing else you can run a wire from your new lights to the dash in one of the extra accessory panels, cut a hole and put in a switch then run it to your battery.

Wouldn't it be easier to find the rear wiper blade wire and just connect it to that since it doesn't work?

if you hook that thing up to ANY stock wiring in any way, bring some marshmallows. because you'll have a fire. hooking it up to the wiper switch is probably the silliest thing i've ever heard... if you google "fog light wiring" or anything related to that you'll get hundreds of pictures/drawing on how to wire a set of lights or lightbar with a relay.

Yeah no point risking your Jeep over being lazy. A few wires and a relay is all you need.

Then get one of these switches to make it really snazzy.

I think it needs to be said, be sure to use a fuse when you wire it.

I would personally run new wiring, a relay and do it right the first time. Follow this and you can't go wrong.

Attachment 226534
Easier to connect 86 and 30 and put the switch on 85 to ground.
