Default lifting components

So I have a base setup that I want to build for my xj it consists of

Superlift 550 coils

Add a leaf for rear

What should I get for control arms?

Pitman arm drop?

Please let me know what else I should get.

You can get a 3 inch lift for 438 http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-su...-pack-kit.html

Forget the AAL deal just a band aid for your old worn out leafs. You will need an adj. track bar, sway bar disconnect and depending on tire size you may need new wheel's like a 15x8" with 3.75-4" of BS good for up to a 33x12:50x15 with stock LCA's.

You will need to relocate your brake line brackets for added flex. Some apps need a TC drop kit also for driveline vibrations if required. More info on your part would help more as to tire size, plan on changing gears, fender trimming, base lift height and higher if you plan on that.

This is the kit i have. I would highly recommend it, but it is also a good reference of all the pieces you might need. I only added a 1" tcase drop to the kit.

Add a leaf is a bad idea unless its super temp like few months. Before you buy any coil springs look up reviews on ride quality some springs ride rough some are smooth. The stock control arms are ok with a 3 inch lift but they should be upgraded since they are stamped steel and weak vs the aftermarket ones.I don't think you need a drop pitman arm tell you go higher.

They aren't required for a 3" lift I ran the stock arms for about a year before upgrading lift height and Adj. U/LCA's.

Aftermarket arms are a good idea and if your buying them buy HD Adj. ones Upper and Lower for full control at different lift heights.
