Default Lifting a 97 Cherokee 4.5 Inches

Right now Im at a 3 inch lift, I do not have a SYE or Extended Drive shaft, and I expeirence no problems with drive shaft Vibration. What Besides The lift it self will I need to install on my jeep? Im going with the rough country 4.5 inch, and it already comes with extended brake lines and all that good stuff.

1. Id look for a different lift besides RC. bad reviews all around.

2. adjustable track bar

3. if you do any wheeling at all, id start savin for that sye. hack n taps are cheap and easy if you have the tools. and you can just use an xj front shaft in the rear.

4. adjustable control arms upper and lower.

im sure there might be a few minor other things but thats all i got right now

I just installed the rc 4.5 kit and every thing but the track bar is fine IMO. I ended up ordering the Hyme joint end track bar with the drop bracket and drop pitman arm. So if you go with rc upgrade to the drop pitman and the better track bar. Also before all the rc is junk kicks is this is all strictly based off my experience and opinion

I have the rc 4.5 with 1 in tc drop. No sye and I have no problems with vibrations and etc. I had a rc adjustable track bar and it was no good so i replaced it with a hd rubicon express and bracket relocation. Also replacced rc shocks with bilstein 5100s.

My recommendation would be like DirtRoadXJ. different brand like RE and adjustable track bar. I had my lift done by trick trucks over 3 years ago. Wish I took time to do myself because one thing I didnt know was involved with the transfer case drop was that my stock skid plate for the tc had to be modified to be put back on, had to fab an adjustment for my z-linkage shifter, and i had to weld on a new exhaust hanger because mine was cut by trick trucks to drop tc.

Other than that not to bad
