Have pretty much decided to go with 3.5" RE 31s on 15x8 steel 4.5" backspace. First of all any one have input on that? Secondly what will I need to correct my steering and will I need to lengthen Brakelines and drive lines? 1990 laredo

an adjustable track bar. the 3.5/31 should be ok for the street. i had a 4.5 with 31's and I would rub off road fully flexed. but it all depends on the setup ect. ive never not put on brake lines when i lifted mine. but ive always gone 4.5+... but i think they are ok. if not search about it and there are tons of cheap options.

As stated either an adjustable track bar or re drilling the hole will be needed. I got extended break lines in the front because I didn't want to run the risk of breaking a line while flexing. If you go this route you can get ones off a 95 wrongler. They are a direct fit and are 3" longer than factory xj ones.
