lift mine more than 4"
this year I lifted my 00 sport 4 inches ( 3" suspension and 1" blocks and spring spacers). All I did for the lift was add a leaf, springs, shocks, and the 1" block in the back and 1" spring spacer in the front. I cut the fenders a ton and fit in my 33s. thats all i have changed from stock. everything runs and works great!
My question is what would have to be done too add some more lift, like 1 - 3 inches?

Running great and working great does not mean, it working or running correctly. Search and read, this has been covered millions of times. Ant lift above 3", You will need an adjustable trackbar and longer control arms you should do a SYE and DS and you will need longer brakelines and longer shocks, might need to correct steering geometry. Considering you have a LP D30 you might also need a new longer front drive shaft, to get the pinion and caster angle correct.

you best bet is a taller spacer in the front and a taller shackle in the rear...
Superior automotive 13-4100 is listed as a Chevy lowering shackle but it will get you either 1.5" or 2.5" of lift depending on what setting you use... also it can be found at most auto parts stores and is around $35 or less
HOWEVER... you will need to address your track bar, control arms, brake lines maybe even steering...
research is your friend on this deal

you can get a 3inch spacer for the front along with the shackles , do you have adjustable control arms or fixed, if youve all ready droped the tc brake lines and maybe akle shims unless your blocs are tapered
