Default Lift kit quality

I am thinking about buying a 4.5" lift from rustysoffroad.com = http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-su...-pack-kit.html. I was wondering if anybody here has had problems with them in terms of quality of lift, or if anybody knows a better place to get essentially the lift, but cheaper? It seems like a pretty legit deal with wheels and tires comes with, but shipping is what is killer. Any info is wanted. Thanks!

I have no experience with Rustys personally, but I hear people say it is a good budget kit.

From what I've read, Rusty's is some of the lowest quality products out there

Dont know about quality but it for sure is better then rough country. Seems like a good deal too. You are saying shipping is expensive but look at all the stuff needs to be shipped. If you are set on 31s and that size lift I say its a good deal. I would rather go 33s on a 4.5 but thats up to you. I have 33s now on 4.5 and actually once they wear out I will get 35s.

I don't think this guy has the "bank" at the moment. So he wants a budget kit. Shipping is going to kill you in the long run from that kit, and might as well get quality kit and tires later.

Yeah. The price is good if you are set on that exact setup.

Rubicon Express 4.5" kit runs about $1200, take the other 400+ you have left and buy some decent shocks and find some 31's on craigslist. You'll come out about the same, maybe another $100 - $200 but you'll have a much better quality lift.

Thanks for all of the input. I am not trying to be cheap, it just seemed like a pretty good deal to get lift kit, wheels, and tires for 2.1k shipped. I have only bought one thing from these guys and it was a throttle body spacer, and that seemed to go fine. Always looking into quality more than anything because I will be having fun!

FYI, TB spacers don't really do much for the 4.0. A bored out TB is a much better way to go. I run 63MM TB and it made a noticeable difference in throttle response and acceleration.
