Default Lift - Didn’t Measure Before

Added new “OEM” leaf springs to my 91’.

It definitely raised the rear of the XJ. But how much is unknown because I didn’t measure that before.

So now I am going to install a rear shackle relocation kit. That will add 1” to 1.5” inches. I want to go to 2”-3”.

All this matters because so many shocks are sold by a lift range. The Fox IFPs I am looking at have a range of 2” to 3.5”.

Where can I find the stock height on an XJ with a Dana 35? And what should I expect as the new leaf springs settle down? How do I figure that into the 2”-3.5” equation?

Check out the pinned post above about lifts and tires. I'm sure I read in there how to find stock height.

Thank You! That is awesome. Now i guess my only question is how to figure leaf spring settling into the equation.

I'll hunt some more but there is a thread somewhere that shows how to measure from axle to body to see what the lift is.
If I'm able to find it I'll link it here.

Here it is: https://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=912893

I hope cross posting is ok, if not please let me know and I will edit.
