2001 Cherokee. Recommend lift (looking at 3") stock 7" wheel. 31 x 10.5 x 15 tire. Am I on the right path. Got two Cherokee s so don't need to make a mistake. No lift now with 225 x 75 on stock rim

I have the same size tire but I have a 4 1/2 inch lift .

I have a budget boost and 31s didn't fit without some extra work like adjusting turning stops, trimming, or longer bumpstops....3 inch is the minimum to clear. Still might run into issues on the lca with stock wheels
