Corbeau Baja XRS Suspension seats with corbeau seat brackets. They sit a bit high, I will probably do something about that at some point, but works for me for now.
Love those corbeau. Id actually like to raise my seats im 5'7 and Christine is 5'5 i dont think it would hurt either of us to have seats be a few inches taller.
Been eyeing ebay seats. Would fab brackets after setting seats on ocks to figure out heights

Hyundai Tiburon seats (most years work) in a '95 XJ 2 dr. The seats fold forward.
Every time I see you post this picture, I immediately start looking for some of these. They look like they belong in there.

Would love to hear your comparison between the eBay seats and the Corbeaus! The Baja XRS's look perfect but boy are they spendy. What lead to the change from one to the other?

Well, the main reason for changing is I have no way to fab a bracket up myself, and the bases off my original seats were very rusted (the vehicle isn't, the seats were pulled from a junkyard/didn't match the jeep). and I tried to modify the corbeau brackets to fit the ebay seats. then I sat in them, and realized that they were not very comfortable. Hard stiff foam, but not much of it, fine for short trips, but a day off road, bouncing around? they would be back breaking. The Bajas are suspension seats, meaning they use straps vs metal springs, and so are significantly more comfortable to just sit in and should be way better for an off road trip. Their fit into the jeep though... they kinda don't, I made a video about it:
I’m looking to swap in early seats into a 96 Cherokee. Has anyone done this. If you could point me in the direction of any info it would be very much appreciated.
those are the seats. And that’s the Jeep.
Any pics of the tiburan seats fab work to make these fit? i may have to keep an eye on the junkyard for these
That's my old '95 XJ and unfortunately I didn't take a pic of the brackets that I made for the installation. I currently have Tiburon seats in my TJ & LJ and it's essentially the same as in this pic. It's basically 1/4" flat bar in 1.5" and 2" widths bolted together with grade 8 hardware. I have the original leather seats in my '89 XJ and I'll probably be swapping them for Tiburon seats too. I've bought seats for as little as $35 each at a junk yard.
Sort of a seat swap. This came from an imported RHD XJ. Now I just need to find the matching front seats.
I need that seat. LOL.
Looks like Mist Gray '97 or '98. But really can't tell from the picture.
I am trying to do that myself but with extra front seat parts I have.
Haven't quite got all the logistics worked out but am close.
