Alright so I've had these LED headlights for about 2 months now but this issue I've had started the first second I hooked these up. The lights stay on whenever the accessories are on or when the jeep is on, what I mean is they stay on but very dim when I have the jeep on and the headlight switch is not pulled at all.
When the headlight switch is pulled the headlights come on and so does the bright light indicator but it is very dim

And with the brights actually on

Could it be the wiring? The headlights themselves? Not really a big deal just something that's become sort of annoying to me

Sounds like day running lights causing them to be on all the time, the slightly lit hi beam is probably the lights being wired weird or something. Those are cheap illegal led headlights so it wouldn't surprise me if they cut some corners wiring it. Maybe since those few that are lit when the low beams are on are also lit with the high beams the power is traveling back up telling the jeep the high beams are on.

I just installed some Trucklite LEDs and I was having a similar problem, except when my switch is off the lights are off, when it is on without highbeams the high beam lights flicker on and off very rapidly. The lights work fine in highbeam mode. I also have the problem with the high beam indicator on the dash being dimly lighted. I was going to replace my switch tomorrow because ever since I got the lights it will buzz when the switch is on and the car is off.

I had the same issue with my high beam indicator when I installed my putco h4 harness. I also encountered the issue of the high beams not shutting off when you go from high beam back to low.
I know not the same problem, but I fixed mine by pulling my fog light relay. I kinda forget why the fog lights mess with the wires but if you have factory fog lights I would try that.

Yup, pull the fog light relay FTW. I had theses exact same issues with my LED headlights and pulling the fog light relay inside the fuse box under the hood cures the issues. Someone told me it has something to do with a polarity issues and that pulling the fog light relay leaves the circuit open ended, fixing the polarity issues. Haha I have no idea tho cuz I am an electrical noob. I just know it is a fix

daytime running lights are designed to run on highbeam but half power.
fog lights are designed from factory to only run with low beam, once you switch to high beam, the fogs shut off.
not sure if pulling the DRL module will fix the first problem, but i'm sure if you pull the fog light relay, you will fix the other problem.

Keep and eye on Trux products.
They will soon be coming out with LED projectors that are cool as hell.
