There's a write up on here about them. You don't have to wire in resistors if you replace your flasher with an LED flasher. Tridon EP-27 or something close to that.

I've done this. I put in led bulbs from www.superbrightleds.com in the front blinkers amd the sides(I also put clear lenses in). I changed the relay. It's easier than messing with resistors amd will decrease your current draw. I used to have a "heavy duty" relay that I picked up at a local auto parts store that worked, but it died amd I couldn't find it again. I bought one from superbrightleds. It's a very quiet relay too.

And, you can swap bulbs back and for freely, and hook up a trailer - the flash rate will not change.
The only drawback? The flash rate will not change. This means you won't get the "fast flash" clue that you would get with a burned-out bulb, but adding a trailer and lights won't give you a "slow flash," either. But, regular checking (quarterly or so) if the turn indicator bulbs will be necessary.
