Default Leaf spring upgrade

I have a 99 Cherokee sport with a 5 1/2 inch lift on it. When I bought it I noticed the rear leaf springs were raised with what appears to be 2 inch blocks. I am thinking to have better ride quality to replace it just with better leaf springs but how do I determine what size leaf springs I need. Do I get 6 inch leaf springs or do I get 2 inch to replace the blocks.
Please help.....

if you're at a total height of 5.5 inches right now, with 2 inch lift blocks as it is, what is in there for shackles with your current setup? you may be able to get away with 2 inch longer shackles, but not if you already have 2 inch lift shackles in it. but chances are, you have stock shackles.

so, i would pull everything, get 3.5 inch Rubicon Express leaf packs along with new R.E. 2 inch lift shackles. that will bring you up to your 5.5 inches, and run real smooth both on and offroad. easy, simple.

or you can run any other combo you want to achieve your 5.5 inches, any way you want.
