I have a 99 Cherokee sport 4x4 and was wondering what all year Cherokee rear leaf springs will bolt to my 99 no problem.

Also my stock rear springs are sagging and was wondering of there are any good links on how to build a bastard pack to get an extra two inch of lift on my already wiped out rear springs.

Should I even bother trying to add leafs to wiped out springs or will it help?

I could get my springs re arched but I definitely want to raise it by 2".

The reason I am asking is that I bought a set of 2" higher springs off of c/l that were supposed to fit but they are about 4" too long and the dude won't return my calls....I took his word for it so I did not measure his against mine....no I don't know where he lives as I met him on the road....yep I'm screwed but I did not pay all that much so not a real big deal....I just hate dishonesty with a passion.

Get another xj, s-10, dakota leafpack. Pull them apart, cut the eyes off the spare pack A single extra leaf in your xj pack will net at least an inch, maybe add another shorter leaf, and swap in an MJ shackle. Should give you what you want.
Just noticed you have a spare pack, use above method and should be good to go.

Yeah the xj's suspension remained unchanged throughout their lifespan. That's why lift kits say they'll fit 84-01 models. A leaf pack from amy xj will fit.
