I am currently doing a set right now. They mount in the stock location with the top welded to the shockmount. Just like the stock ones.
Dont try and match the actual angle of the stock ones. They are different.

flush it up to the mounts. Most important is a solid mount.
So your arc in the new mounts will go right where the old ones were after all the old weld is ground off.
The it mounts flush with bottom of the shock mount. So you can get a good weld.
Also a common mistake is not too allow enough room for the lower shock bolts.
So make sure you can still get the lower shock bolts in place with the new bracket.
