I remember when researching my kit that I was told by Iron Rock Offroad that you dont need longer ones at 3" of lift. You should be ok without it, i went like 3.5, which the kit really sits about 4, and I bought longer ones from Rough Country.

They were 90 bucks, they dont list them on their site, but if you call you can get just about anything from them that they sell in their kits. They seem pretty beefy too. And they told me they were good for up to 4.5" of lift.

But really I dont think you will need them if you are only going to be at 3".

For 3" it will work but it will pull the front axle back just a little, I personally would suggest new longer ones. I am at 4.5 so new ones went an option for me
