Like the place in this photo
High guys I have a jeep Cherokee classic that doesn't have the full factory roof rack. It has a sunroof that is after market and was wondering if putting KC lights behind the sunroof would do any good shining forward? And input would help

It would work but not at its best...imo though it would look funny with the lights that far back on that roof.

It would cut off the lower part of the light beam. Looks like you need to work on that rust!

Yeah that's good Pennsylvania rust, and yeah that's what I thought about the lights but I wasn't sure. I might just go with a light bar on the windshield instead lol

Yes I have almost everything for it to make it look nice, my only problem is I can't find time to do anything on it. And without the lift the tires won't fit

Do you NEED roof top mounted lights? I have done a fair amount of work to my Jeep and do not have any auxiliary lighting mounted. Unless you do a lot of night wheeling, I wouldn't put lights on it. I equate the roof mounted lights to the Ricer's putting the big spoiler on a Civic. Yes they have a function, but if you aint using that function you look silly riding down the interstate to work in the morning with them. As others have said, get the Jeep right before adding lighting. On top of that, I would suggest you do some wheeling and see if you REALLY need additional lighting.

Yes, but we are not sure if it is rust, it is kind of black and doesn't have the look surface rust has. The guy who had it before us knew the sunroof was leaking so instead of putting new seals on like I did he sprayed flex seal all over the roof.

Have you pulled the carpet yet? All that water infiltration can't be a good thing.

yes it took awhile but we finally fixed it, there was atleast a foot of water in it after the first rainstorm, so to make sure I'd still have floors in the future I cleaned all the water out. They should have never thought it was a good idea to cut a hole in the roof. Lol
