I know there are already posts on this but reading them only gave me vague answers, I frequent the local parts yard looking for anything 97+ and can never find it, and my power steering pump is spewing all over the place. I know you can use the pump out of a WJ and just change out the reservoir and pulley, but I was wondering if there were any other jeeps that shared an interchangeable power steering pump. If there's a way to get pre 97 XJ pumps to fit, I'd love to know about it, there are pre 97 cherokees all over the place, and ZJ's, but never any newer XJs or WJs.
Also, slightly off topic, does anyone know if the throttle position sensor from a 96 will function correctly on my 99? it looks very similar to the one on my 99, which is on the fritz and making my car stumble during acceleration. I've already changed plugs, dist. cap, wires, coil, injectors, etc. so I've pretty much narrowed it down to the last couple possible things. I appreciate any help

Im down, I just want to look for one from the yard first, since they're only about $25. If anyone's had experience putting a pre-96 xj p/s pump into a 97+ xj I'd love to hear about it.

I might can get you a WJ pump IF the JY's have any in stock. It would be about $100 shipped to you if you are in the lower 48.
