Default JKS swaybar mounts, tire clearance

I was having trouble after my lift with clearance between my drag link and sway bar mount when turning right. So I bought 2 inch extended sway bar mounts from jks and had them welded on. But now I am having clearance issues between the tires and the swaybar mounts. I guess since it's up higher its now closer to the rubber.

So I turned out my steering stops the width of a nut and now the tires clear. I would just like to get back to stock turning radius again.

I'm at 6.5" of lift on stock tires right now. Wanting to go up to 33x12.5 so I would need the normal backspacing for 33x12.5, and then some. Just not sure how much?

Unless someone has an idea to fix the swaybar mounts?

So is 3.75 what you would normally run with 33x12.5? Or would that also compensate for the already limited steering stops?

And is 3.75 the lowest backspacing you can get? I've been looking around and that's all i've seen.

I've got 3.25 on mine (Eagle Alloy, Series 57)

You might be able get away with a 4" B.S.
Your favorite tire shop should be able to mock-up a wheel/tire combo and check for clearance before you make a purchase.

I would go as low backspacing as I need to. No fender flair laws here.

I didn't think about going to the tire shop to mock fit them. Thanks for the advice though.

Typically 3.75BS is recommended. Lots of wheels have 4.0BS and usually work alright. I would say anywhere between. 3.25-3.75BS would be ideal.

I'm running 33x 12.5 15's with 3.75 BS and I also have the 2" JKS Swaybar extensions and mine don't come even close to rubbing on them.

That makes me feel even better about it. And I won't have to go down to the tire shop for a test fit. Thanks!

Do you mean the links or the new mounts I had welded on?

I'm not sure off the top of my head. I'll try and get out and measure them tonight. Why do you ask?
