May be a day or two, still reeling from just installing the new swaybar bushings ! I'll have to go scrounge up some new OEM upper bushings and the correct bolt for the JK shocks. Don't feel like dealing with any broken bolts today !!! Seems, like every time I do a repair or upgrade, I hit a snag somewhere !!! I'll update when it's done! Thanks Cruiser!!! Good tip on the broken bolt !!! Kinda like putting toothpicks in a wood hole with some Tite-bond !!!

What part #s are you guys red shocks,,, 86-88s 86-89s ? I just did some reading on them. The Rubicons, Saharas and JKs come with all different combos. They even have four different springs to adjust for driver weight and full fuel tank placement! I found out that the black ones that I have, 25-55s, are from an older Sahara. An upgrade from the regular JK springs. They are suppose to be more for ride comfort than the Rubicons. Ride comfort is what I was wanting with back issues.

I have a set of Rubicon Unlimited shocks coming today. I'll let you know what the part#'s are. It would be nice to compile the info here, as there doesn't seem to be a comprehensive guide anywhere. I'll try to also take measurements.

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/stoc...uestion-85825/I found a thread on another forum about jeep jk shocks and spring combos. Gave the part numbers for all the springs and the shocks. Seems to be a big topic with the JK owners. I'll see if I can find it, try to post a link.

Nope. Found a good deal and decided to buy these as a backup/replacement set.

Thanks. I figure these OEM take-offs won't be around forever since the last JK rolled off the line on 4/30.

No doubt. Heck of a lot of good deals out there right now though for that quality of a shock.

If anyone else finds a good deal on them, post a link up. I'll snag a set at the right price too. 75 is the cheapest I can find at the moment.
