Default Jack for my 3in lifted XJ

I jsut realized how ridiculously insufficient the stock jack in my XJ is.
I broke it out for the first time to put my jeep on Stands to install wheel spacers. My XJ is stock / trimmed right now with 245/70r16s on it.
It would not get the tire off the ground and is clunky as hell.

So I need to procure a jack that I an use to put my jeep on stands (not often but when I need to I need to) and keep with me for spare swapping.
---
I am guessing the Hi-Lift is a good option, just looks hard to use in my driveway on what I would call normally jacking points.
---
Was also thinking of getting a junkyard scissor jack out of a full size pickup or something?

Yea I want a Hi Lift but with Stock Bumpers, no jack point.
And a Floor jack is great in the driveway, but not with me to change a spare?

Can't you use a hi jack right behind the front tire?

You can use a high lift anywhere you think will support the weight.

A hilift will be useless on on an Xj with stock bumpers and no sliders if the op has sliders and aftermarket bumper the hilift will do.

I use a small floor Jack. Carry it around in the back. It works great and small and out of the way. Think I got it from wal-mart. Came with stand.

A bottle jack and a small piece of plywood to put it on. I used to carry highlift on my old TJ. It was cool looking, it really was. First time out on the trail, I was with some old timers who have been wheeling forever, I offered my highlift when a guy needed to change out a tire. He smiled, pulled out a small piece of plywood as a base and used a bottle jack. It fits under the rear seat next to the Gorilla lug wrench.

If you plan on using a highlift as a come along or other than a jack, then that's a different story. If you simply want a jack, a bottle jack is the way to go.

last time i was in a xj with a high lift jack it came loose when we rolled and ended up about a inch from hitting my head. I use the bottle jack on the trail and a floor jack at home
