Where does it say you need a Tcase drop for the Zone lift? I have the same 3in Zone lift and did not need it. Just have to pick what rear axle you have. I have only had the kit on for about 2 months now and rides good, just a bit hars over stock.
I would take anything over Zone. I ran the 3" with their nitro shocks and hated it. Rode worse than my first lowrider S10 which had collapsed heated springs and blocks, sitting on the bump stops all the way around. I don't know much about IRO's 3" kit but if they are local go talk with them. As for 3" kits Rusty's looks good on paper and some members have vouched for it.
I've had the Zone 3" kit on for almost two years now and it's not bad. Though I dont really have any experience with any other lifts so my opinion is biased. In the beginning I dealt with the somewhat stiff ride but over time I got tired of it. Since putting the lift on I also upgraded to IRO adj LCA, RE adj track bar, and Liquid Iron shackle relocation brackets. Now i'm very please with the ride.

LOL you better be using new u bolts with any lift kit you go with, otherwise I don't want to be behind you on a trail. The transfer case drop is a general band-aid for many who experience vibrations from driveline angles. What you really should be looking up is the ride quality and spring ratings of each as well as which one includes the most bang for your buck.
