IRO track bar install question
Preface - I have used the search tool
I can't for the life of me figure out how to take off my track bar. Trying to install an IRO adjustable for a 3" lift and am having mental issues apparently. HELP!
I also ordered IRO extended front swaybar links. I can't figure out how they are supposed to fit. The angles and such of the holes do not fit anyway I try to line it up. Do I not have the right parts for it? HELP!
Update: I got the old bar off and now need help with the new one. please skip to the pictures to help me out!

Your old bad has one bolt at the axle end with a nut on the back of it and the frame end has a tierod type end on it which requires you to remove a split pin then remove the nut with a 3/4" socket or wrench. Once you get the nut off, use a pickle fork to get the end out of the frame. A big hammer hitting the frame mount will work if you cant get a pickle fork. As far as the sway links not fitting, post a pic so we can see what you are working with.

Hopefully he did. If so, there's 4 nuts on the stock track bar bracket. Take those off and then take the one bolt out of the axle side. Reinstall in reverse with the bracket and trackbar they provided
If you got the track bar with the tie rod end, it's even easier. Take off the cotter pin and castle nut at the frame side and use a pickle fork to get it out, then take out the bolt at the axle side, reinstall in reverse.
In both cases, get the jam nut down nice and tight after getting the new track bar bolted on.

Put the gold nut on the tre. adjust the tre on the track bar to your prefered length, put it all on then tighten the gold nut, its there to keep the tre tight on ur trac bar

sounds like you've damaged the threads... drop something on them? drop the tre on something?

nope took it right out of the package and tried to get it on and it jammed.
after inspecting it though it seems there is a tiny kink in the thread where its getting stuck. any way I can work through it?

in the mean time, I had the jeep jacked up for when I was putting on the lift. I don't want to leave the jack supporting the axle for too long. will it hurt anything to put the tires on and drop it with the track bar off? don't kill me if that was a stupid ?

It'll be fine, just don't drive it without it installed properly.
As for the tire rod end...and you can either go purchase a tap for the proper thread of the tre or you can use a small file and knock that burr off
Also I hope your using jack stands as well and not just relying on the jack....i'm sure you are but had to ask.

Have you ever seem a tap and die set? The tap looks kinda like a bolt with tapered cutting threads on it you would use that in the rod end of the track bar and jam nut. the die looks like a large nut again with tapered cutting threads but on the inside you would use this on the tre. both will clean up the threads for you and allow you to install that tracbar.
Google tap n die set and it will make sense
