Hello I'm currently replacing my headliner and my instrument panel, so I have a lot of the trim and dash pulled apart. Has anyone ever painted their interior trim and dash? Also I have found this site that offers a custom dash for almost every vehicle including 97-01 Jeep Cherokees. Has anyone ever used this? https://www.rvinyl.com/Jeep-Cherokee...ash-Kits.html#
I'm wondering just what you get in that kit ??? Seems funny there's no reviews or even pics to show just what the "kit" covers for the dash pieces...You can paint your interior trim and/or dash..You just need the correct components to do it...Super cleaned parts,an adhesion promoter for a bond between the part and the vinyl dye in the color you want to use...
Yeah, I looked through a lot of their photos on the Rvinyl website and from what I can tell it's just decals that you put over parts of your current setup. I was hoping from all new dash and trim pieces. I might just try the spray can paint you get from autozone. I believe its just called trim vinyl paint.
I think I might have a couple pieces from that kit on my Jeep.
I saw a tranny shifter bezel and cruise control switches on ebay with wood grain.
Curiosity got the better of me and I bought them.
I saw that whole kit and while there are some pieces in the kit I would use I would not use all of it.
Thinking it is too much.
As far as painting interior pieces there is something I want to try and do with my door panels.
I have not tried it yet but bought this:
