Default Installing RE 3.5" leaf springs, removing rear sway bar

So I picked up a set of RE 3.5" leaf springs to upgrade my old worn out AAL. I downloaded the instruction from Rubicon Express and it says to remove the rear sway bar completely. I am new to 4wheeling so excuse me if this is a dumb question, but are there no driveability issues with the rear sway bar removed. I am assuming if the instructions say to remove it, I won't have much choice since I suspect it won't reach anymore.

Also, I need to get the brake line extension for the rear. I see the RE part number for this, are there other extensions I can get instead? I am probably going to look locally tomorrow and if I cannot find the RE version I am just wondering if there is another option.

Thanks

I just did a 4.5'' lift on my XJ and removed the rear sway when I did it. I have noticed no adverse effects (affects?) while driving it. I personally would not run without a front sway bar on the street as that does a pretty good job of helping reduce/control body roll during cornering and not having one can make high speed maneuvering a bit unpredictable (if you have to dodge a chair on the freeway or something lol).

A lot of rigs (cars and trucks alike) don't even come with a RSB. Hope that answers your question.

Cool! Off to the metal scrap yard then. I don't tow anything with my Jeep (except maybe other Jeeps, lol) I have a diesel truck to handle the towing I'm going to keep my front.

Good plan. The rear is basically worthless. The front is mandatory on the road for safety IN MY OPINION.

You can use a Dakota brake line for the rear, It's cheaper and is longer than the RE
