Default Installing new front axle shafts

I am removing the front passenger axle shaft(s) (2 piece). I watched a youtube video where the second half of the axle is removed using a magnet. However, mine is not that easy so I'm assuming there must be a pin holding the axle to the ring and pinoin. So this is where im stuck, any help is much appreciated.

IF your creative you can use a broom stick (wooden) and cut the end of it into a wedge.
