installing lift springs
so im just about done installing my 4.5 x series on my 92 and let me start off by saying what a horrible fitment on the leafs I wish i would have read the complaints before it but regardless got them installed. put together all my control arms and set to the right length and installed but when it comes time to put in the coil springs i cant get the side to drop down enough because the the lower arm is hitting where it attaches to the axle and is causing it to hang up i also am using a spring compressor but what should i do

This is the easiest and quickest way. I did mine like this and popped the old out and the new ones in with a long jack handle and some muscle. Didnt use spring compressor. If you got one though, use it also.

unbolting the bottom ca on the side you are working on is the safest way to do it as compressing a spring too much can be dangerous (had one pop out on my and nearly broke my thumb) and stepping on the rotor adds more weight to one side which could potentiall make the jeep fall off it's jacks if it was not secured properly. make sure you have unbolted your brakeline bracket from the frame as well
