Installed clockspring but..
So I've got a 99 Cherokee and I had the issue with the airbag light on and horn not working. So from what I've read I deduced I had a bad clockspring. I just finished replacing it with one I got off of ebay and hooked the battery back up. Started her up and the airbag light is still on and horn still not working....
I turned it back off and started her up again and the airbag light went off for about 2 seconds then turned back on and the horn still did not work. I can hear the relay clicking down by the fuse block so I'm at a loss.
Could they have sent a bad clockspring or is there anything I need to do after the install to remove the light and horn to work. I thought it was just a plug and play? Any help would be great because I need to fix this so I can pass my inspection and get this baby on the road.

I made this same repair about a month ago. However I got my clockspring from the dealer. My airbag light was lit for about 30 seconds after I cranked it up but then it went off and the horn and cruise worked fine.
I would pull the airbag module, clean the connectors and then hook it back up and see if that helps. Otherwise, hope you can get your money back.

My bet is you have a faulty clockspring (that's the risk when you buy stuff from ebay....i would rather get from fellow members that are parting out their Jeep).
