Default Injector question

I've got a 2001 cherokee. Swapped 0331 head recently, and while the rail/injectors were off I noticed that the injectors looked as though they had seen better days. So I'd like to swap them, and it seems that the forums are LOADED with "injector upgrade" threads. So much so that I'm confused about what specifically I need.

I'm not looking for a performance boost (i'm stock now and plan on staying pretty much stock for the forseeale future). I'm just looking for a good stock replacement.

My question is that for 99+ it sounds as if the 0 280 155 784 injector is what I need. But all I find for those are 24lb injectors.... stock I think is 22.5 @ 49 psi. So, unless I'm mistaken at WOT would't they overfuel as the O2 sensors are not being looked at?

Trying to understand which injectors are correct for what I'm looking to do.

Thank you

You will be fine with 784. The long term fuel trim effects wot. Reset the computer then it should be adjusted within 50 heat cycles. Many people will tell you they will over fuel but they don't understand fuel injection well and are unwilling to do the research. If you look at the fuel trims both will be negative but that's fine for larger injectors. Make sure you have decent o2 sensors.

The 784's are correct and I have them in my 99 a very worthwhile upgrade is a set of cleaned/inspected/rebuilt injectors.

I bought mine from a member here on the forum "programbo" they looked like new when I received them and the 4 hole is an improvement.
