what i need to know is that do i need to get a leaf kit to or can i just lift my jeep without it plz help thanks.

 

Need more clarification. You have an 89 (I presume XJ), and what are you looking to accomplish?

 

well i want to get 30 inch tires onto my jeep and wht does xj stand for?

 

XJ is a Cherokee. Why not just get a kit for what you have? The parts for the front will work but nothing for the rear will, not even the shocks.

 

i just want to have 2 more inchs of lift. what exactly do i need to get that and cheep? and i do have a cherokee yes

 

What there saying is your not being clear about what KIND of cherokee you have a zj,wj or xj.Bit if a difference when your ordering parts.A Cherokee is not just a Cherokee.You listed zj parts,do you have a zj?looks like you have a xj
