I'm looking to buy KC slimlites for my XJ. I've seen the little illustration that KC gives, for fog, driving, and long range compared to OEM low and high beam. I'm not looking for much of a long range (1 mile is way more than what I need). I'm looking for more like a high beam range, but some what of a wide pattern. I want to slightly angle them to each side if it would help with the a wide pattern. Which ones would be best for this? I'm guessing the fog or driving?

 

Fog lights provide short range and a wide pattern, great for cutting through fog and/or snow.

Driving lights offer a narrower pattern but a longer pattern.

Trust me dude, if you want wide and your only getting a couple you cant go wrong with the fog lights, they help a ton!
