So you are making a mud rig? What size tires, what axles, what kind of steering setup?
You will likely get flamed soon..

You need to bend your drag link into a "z" shape and add as many gussets as possible.

bonus points if you torch flames into the gussets

seriously, don't do that, give us more information. sounds like you have no idea what you are doing based on your description.

I won't flame. I want to see it done! If you want to build a rig to crawl do it, if your crawling mall curbs do it, if your putting 40s under your xj and stomping some mud do it. I don't get why everyone on this forum praises function over form. If its what he wants by god that's what he's building. Who cares if he turns and rip the steering box off. It's all in good fun. I'd rather be under my xj wrenching away than out on the street selling drugs or something. Ok I'm done ranting. Excuse me please

I have 8 up front and sprung over in rear and stock steering other than drop pit arm...BUT I bought it that way and I'm trien to put together a crossover kit and I wish I had a little lower cuz I now it's not the best for wheelin but Idk how to lower rear while still staying sprung over and advice?? Can I take a leaf out or somethin. And front not 2 worried about he put 2 2inch spaces=4 :O lol. But I'll get it where I need it 1 day

Get stock rear leafs and take the spacers off. You would be at 4" all around then

I could tell from the post, going spring over gets about 4" of lift with stock rear springs

The spring over alone should only give about 4-4.5" of lift, that's what I'm doing to my MJ to match the 4.5" springs up front.

Back to the original question, I'd do crossover steering. I dunno why you would want it that high though.

That's what I thought. But the guy SAID the front was 4 inch with 2 2 inch spacers that equal 8 and the rear was just stock spring over. It's more like a 6.5
