Friend of mine inadvertently topped off transfer case with gear oil about a pint he says. I advised him it needs to be flushed out immediately. He has driven about 25 miles this way. Anyone know of this ever happening & results or a fix other than flushing it out. Thanks for any help

 

Drain it and refill with with Dex/Merc.

 

What is it in cause some t-cases use gear dope. Doubt it'd hurt a newer jeep case but prolly wouldn't be good for it either due to the thickness.

 

Drain and fill, it will be fine.

If it is an NP 231, then Serious is right.
