Hey all - bought my first XJ few weeks ago and I've enjoyed getting to know it. It's on 35s with a 6.5" RC lift, but in the little bit I drove it before I starting tearing it apart, I didn't notice the steering struggles everyone talks about. While swapping front ends I noticed that there are a few steering components that say RC on them, like the steering stabilizer and pitman arm. Overall the steering looks a little beefier than I expected - is this all aftermarket stuff?? Steering was on my list since everyone talks about it, would be great if I didn't have to do as much as I thought. Here's some pics:

Looks like a drop pitman arm , and some kind of adjustable track bar...the rest looks stock for the most part

 

Only things that aren’t stock are what comes with the RC lift kit.

 

What's the track bar frame side bracket look like.
if thts a dropped pitman arm then the frame side of track bar needs dropped to match is the most important part of this puzzle that's not pictured.

 

The V8 ZJ tiered setup is a good cheap steering upgrade.
