Got to a hobby shop. They have tons of connectors to pick from and they are booted so they won't short.

I'm not 100% sure or not, but isn't there just a fuse you could pull to keep the interior lights off?

Ok I went out and took a picture to clarify this up for everyone. Find the plug in this picture behind the kick panel on your jeep and unplug it when you remove your doors.

When you unplug it your lights will not come on and it will be just like you have your door closed.

It's not that hard I do this all the time on my 99 xj but all you gotta do is take the doors off grind the hinge pin out put the half that goes on the door on and put a bolt in wear the pin went there is no sag at all on mine and for the wires I jus unplug the factory plugs and feed them thru the hole and I have power everything

Ya I do the same thing pulling the wires through really isn't that hard to unplug all the connections. However it would be convenient to have just one plug.

As far as finding the connector maybe try searching eBay for 21 pin harness you might be able to find something that will work. I couldn't find any grand Cherokee harnesses on there that had both ends of the connection. I also found out the zj harnesses are discontinued from the dealer and used to cost like 250$.

So you can put your door back on and off whenever? What is it on the door that everyone says it sags?

When you cut the hinges it weakens it and pulls down I tried it by cuttin them and I couldn't shut my door so I got new hinges from pull-a-part and I got the shims to jus to put them under the bottom you can move the doors up and down but it lines up perfect

Oh, so it sags when the door is on because there isn't enough support to hold it up?

There's enough support and it dong sag its jus loose because you stick a bolt in that's not as thick as the factory pin I can open and close my door all day with out it hitting above or lower the latch on the door

Just take a wrench and unscrew the button assembly, pull the plug off the back and you're golden. You don't even have to take off the kick panel. And I got plugs off summit , 2 12 pin plugs at my door for $25.
