This weekend I added a few LEDs. Specifically:
- Dash - added 3 "194s" or "WLED-WHP5" from superbrightleds.com . There is actually room for 5 but I accidentally only ordered 3 so I added one on each end and one in the middle and left the other two stock. Big improvement even with only 3.
- Transmission shifter green LED "WLED-G5" from superbrightleds.com. Again, great improvement. I need to get another one for the 4x4 transf case shifter. You don't have to loosen the entire console, just the cover for the shifter... really easy.
- Under the hood - "67-W15" from superbright. This bulb was not brighter than the stock bulb, but at least will use less electricity.

QUESTION:
- How do I find the light bulb location for the A/C controls on my 94 XJ? The light is currently working but is dim compared to others so would like to replace it. I think that would be a 74.

It is indeed a 74. You'll need to unscrew the HVAC controls and unplug the bulbs from the back. Should be 1 on either side iirc.

Just replaced mine with a an LED 74 bulb on my 95 XJ. Unscrew the HVAC unit and the bulb is on the right side of the unit on the back.
