Hello, I'm new to the forum and also new to jeep Cherokee s not gonna lie I was a yota guy. I have a 97 cherokee 2 door Manuel 6 cylinder welded front and rear not sure how much lift it has but it's a decent amount on tractor tires, I've taken this Cherokee to haspin a few times really that's all I'm building it for. I was wanting to know what everyone does for more flexing? There's no stabilizer bars. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it pics would be great if possible thanks!

What do you mean by welded front and rear? What kind of terrain is "haspin"? What kind of lift?
Bottom line here is you want more "flex", you better have more "bucks"...

Haspin is got alittle bit of everything, Im not sure of the lift kit as I bought it already installed, i do have 3" wheels spacers on each side, I was thinking about building new drive shafts, longer spring shackels, last weekend there I came up to a rock ledge getting ready to climb it and I bent the tie rod so aftermarket ones suggestion ? Would a ball joint stop a flex to a certain point where a heim joint would work better?

You'll want the 1 ton over or under the knuckle upgrade for sure...no surprise you bent it, as it looks stock from what I can see. Better pics of your setup would be famous, as we can't really see what you have under there from those pics. I'm going to guess you are running short arms from what I can see...and yeah, those are looking a lot like tractor tires, LOL
Take close up pics underneath your rig front and rear when you can, and post them up...also, if you can still contact the previous owner and get some info, that would probably help out too.

Yeah, you'll wanna ditch that whole steering and trackbar setup, go with a double shear trackbar and bracket, and either OTK or UTK one ton steering. Long arms will get you better geometry as well. Figure out how much lift you have and also determine if your transfercase has an SYE or not. Anything past 3" you should probably be running one.
One last thing, Ditch that front bumper, that thing is sketch. At the very least do NOT use it for recovery.

Looks like your rear spring shackle box is rusting, so you might want to cut it out and replace it. You can get different shackle boxes that will help with flex. That is some hillbilly ****, hahaha!
edit: durp that's the front box. but you can get aftermarket rear shackles for more droop / articulation by changing shackle angles, etc.

Yes the front end need a lot of help as does the rear. I hope when you bought it that you planned on investing quite a bit of money into it. All the items above need replaced as they have stated.
Before I would have driven it those directional (tractor) tires would have been replaced. They have no use on an XJ unless you plan on plowing (very light) or pulling a disk behind on dirt. For mud they are to narrow and if you need reverse for any reason while stuck your SOL. They are a very poor choice for the trails like you posted.
The welded gears, hope that the person who did the job was a real welder or they will give you problems quickly if poorly done.
Good points you know there are problems and came here for help that's a big positive in your favor.

By the way this is just a toy for me not meant for the roads. damn i built that front bumper out of heaven steel alittle bit of over kill I think but that's all I had haha but I've been yanked out of a mud hole with that bumper just fine, the tractor tires works great in climbing these hills and going through mud except they're not tall enough somtimes the jeep will fall into ruts and my diff would stop me. I'll measure the lift when I get home from work, also where's the best place to buy parts ? Rusted off road seems expensive didn't know if there was another jeep website ?
