Put a couple of these on my XJ:
Noticeable difference when you are slow-wheeling during the summer (I take mine out in the dunes of OBX in 90° plus temps) as well as a big decrease in heat soak after you park it while its hot. They really allow a lot of air to flow around the engine bay when you aren't really moving fast enough to get a decent head-wind.

I don't have these mounted but just sat them on my head to take a photo to try and sell them (No takers). They are actually aluminum vents off a tractor trailer door.

I bought a pair of vents off of Ebay for $25.00
They do a great job of letting heat out of the engine bay and keeping water out. Even while wheeling 8hrs a day at crawling speeds in 90* weather in moab

went cheap on my first cherokee... set of 4 4" floor registers and a handful of self tapping screws. Went in easy, never came loose, definetly let a LOT of heat out!
cost me about 25 bucks all said and done.
