So I am walking through the j/y and see a 1978 Z/28. It has some nice looking vents on the front fenders and I think wow those would make awesome hood vents. What do you think? Pics are from my cell phone so not very good.

Thanks guys. The nice thing about them is they have a steel backing frame that bolts to the inside of the hood. To mount them I just laid the frame on the hood, traced the area to cut out and drill the holes. Then bolt the vent down to the inside mount, to easy.

Looks good. I've had a set sitting in my garage for over a month now to do the same thing, just been to busy with work and with the jeep being held up in the shop for the regearing to get it done.

I am super cheap. The paint is a industrial enamel made by Iowa paint, I think they are out of buisnes now. It is called Flambeu, might be a Massey Fergusen tractor color. A friend had a gallon sitting in his basement, got it for free.

That Colour looks sick! Love it. It really shows off the lines. Definitely keeping this in mind if i ever decide to re paint. Also love the decal across the windshield.
